I.M.A.G.E. Consortium cDNA Clones
Image Consortium
The I.M.A.G.E. consortium make high quality,
arrayed cDNA libraries available to the community. Each clone has
been given a unique I.M.A.G.E. ID to facilitate reference. The
sequence, mapping and expression data has been placed in the public
domain. These clones are available free of any royalties and are
available to anyone agreeing with their guidelines. Lennon et

Mammalian Gene Collection
The Mammalian
Gene Collection (MGC) is an NIH initiative to generate
full-length cDNA resources. Source BioScience LifeSciences is
now able to supply these full-length cDNA clones. Click
here for more information.
- Fully-sequenced clones have been sequenced throughout the
coding region of the gene, by the IMAGE consortium.
- Partially sequenced clones have gone through a single round of
sequencing either the 3' or 5' coding region of the gene, by the
IMAGE consortium.
Image Consortium SP clones
Due to high levels of redundancy in the IMAGE libraries, all the
clones produced are no longer routinely available. Most of the
clones should still be available from the current repository.
Our online ordering system will check if the clone you are
interested in is part the collection we curate, and automatically
assign an SP status to the ones that we do not have in our
freezers. Source BioScience LifeScienceswill then order it for you
for our normal price plus an Administration charge of GBP30 per
clone. Please be aware that due to the complexity in checking and
eventually getting these clones, it will take a minimum of three
weeks for the order to be processed.
