Source BioScience win RCUK Sequencing Tender
We here at Source BioScience
LifeSciences recently succeeded in winning a competitive bid to
provide DNA Sequencing to Research Councils UK, or RCUK as it's
better known!
This is fantastic news for us and the
RCUK group. We are now able to provide our DNA sequencing service
for the next two years, with the option to extend to three years
for all the seven Research Councils that come under the RCUK
umbrella. This will enable a single procurement process for the
Medical Research Council (MRC), the Biotechnology and Biological
Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), the Natural Environment Research
Council (NERC) and more.
The contract is an extension of
previously renewed awards from the MRC which originated in 2003.
The agreement means Source BioScience's DNA sequencing services are
now available to all RCUK laboratories.
