Here is a selection of what some of our customers say about Source BioScience, the products and services we provide and quality of support that they receive.

Our group based at the Sir William Dunn School of Pathology, University of Oxford, routinely uses your Sanger sequencing service, and we have been delighted with the service you provide. Online submission of our samples is convenient and intuitive, and we are able to drop-off our samples on site for collection. Sequence data is emailed back almost always within 12 hours and we have been consistently impressed with the quality of the sequencing data and reliability of the service. Furthermore, by purchasing sequencing vouchers in advance, we have found it an economical solution to a routine requirement of our research. I would like to thank you on behalf of our group.

My collaborators and I have recently used your services for next generation sequencing of culture-independent bacterial communities and found the service to be excellent. From working with Andrew Jones in generating a quote, to working with Barry Murphy on methods and troubleshooting, to working with the rest of the team and bioinformatics specialists on gathering and understanding the large datasets, the process has been smooth, intuitive and reliable.

Our questions (of which we had many given the nature of the project) were always answered rapidly and professionally and we appreciated the team’s willingness to try alternative methods.

We certainly plan to use your service again and continue to recommend your work to colleagues. Thank you for all of your help.

I have used Source BioScience’s Sanger sequencing service for 3 years and they have consistently provided a good quality sequencing service and on the rare occasions that they don’t work, they will offer a free repeat service. I work with challenging DNA from formalin-preserved archival samples and have noticed they are similar quality to sequences from fresh samples. They offer an excellent high class service for the user providing sequencing samples and give useful feedback and tips for improvement.

The Sanger Sequencing Service offered by Source BioScience is excellent. There is a free collection service offered in numerous UK cities and the turnaround time is rapid, in 12 hours or less. I have used the Company to sequence pre-purified PCR products and supplied my own primers. However, they also offer plasmid sequencing, PCR cleanup and a panel of 30 available common primers. In a few instances, the results returned have indicated a failed read, however, the company offers one free repeat on all orders and in each case, this has yielded successful results. Communication is excellent as is their customer service. The online order submission allows for upload of a pre-designed product template if submitting multiple reads in plate format.

We have found the Sanger sequencing service provided by SourceBioScience reliable and cost effective with the sequence data is returned within 24 hours of the samples being dropped off. Furthermore, we use the SourceBioscience mini prep kits, which give us high quality DNA suitable for cloning all at a competitive price.
